# Features: Workflows

Automations your assistant runs for you.

Workflows are what make Nudgly more than a to-do list. A workflow is something the assistant does on its own when a trigger fires: a time arrives, or an event happens. This is the assistant working while you are elsewhere.

## Reading a workflow [#reading-a-workflow]

Each one is a simple top-to-bottom flow: a WHEN block (the trigger, for example “8:00 AM daily”) followed by THEN blocks (the steps the assistant runs, in order: check calendar, prioritise tasks, send a brief).

## The screen [#the-screen]

On the left, your list of workflows with each one’s schedule and status — Live or Paused — plus counters for Live, Paused, and total runs. In the centre, the selected workflow’s flow, with a Live toggle and a “Run now” button. On the right, recent runs with a one-line result each, and a success rate.

## How workflows get made [#how-workflows-get-made]

Most of the time you do not build these by hand. Your assistant offers to set one up in conversation — “Want me to draft your notes after every meeting from now on?” — and when you say yes, it builds the workflow and it appears here. You can then pause it, run it on demand, or edit it.

## Approval [#approval]

Workflows that only read or inform run silently. Workflows that send, book, or email pause and ask you first.

Examples in the launch set: a morning brief every day, a weekly plan every Monday, meeting prep 30 minutes before a call, a follow-up when an invoice is due, itinerary help when you book a trip.
