Routines

Your own checklists, guided by your assistant.

5 min read

A routine is a personal checklist your assistant walks you through, step by step. Unlike a workflow, you do the steps; the assistant reminds you, surfaces the list at the right time, and checks items off as you go.

A routine has a name, a schedule (usually a time, like every weekday at 7am), and an ordered list of steps. Examples: a morning routine (wake, news, workout, breakfast), a start-of-workday routine (review calendar, top three priorities, clear urgent messages), a wind-down routine (review the day, set tomorrow’s top three, screens off).

Like workflows, your assistant can set a routine up for you in conversation, then it lives alongside your workflows for you to edit or pause.

Keep it simple: routines are for the things you want to stay consistent about, with a gentle nudge from your assistant.
